Due to advancements in medicine and technology and a spike in the birth rate, the world is now filled with over 20 billion people. The OGAC (Overarching Government of All Countries) banned abortion and contraseptives but soon lifted the ban after the population doubled in size. There is a widespread shortage of food, water, and other natural resources. Living conditions are poor, with many families living in close quarters. As a solution, the OGAC is advertising a promised land, where people are taken to an undisclosed area with better living conditions. People are randomly summoned and taken away from their normal lives to supposedly live in better conditions with more food and resources. But in reality, it is just a way to kill off a mass amount of people to reduce overpopulation in a discreet way. The government and media has convinced the common-people that this method of moving humans to a undisclosed location would improve the problem, while some people are becoming suspicious about what is really happening. In addition, there have been several instances where entire towns have been killed off, with no sign of human activity. But, the government is mereley calling it a coincidence and is denying taking responbility for the mass murder of thousands of people.
